The Novitiate is a two-year intensive formation period, where a novice is guided by a Mistress on her journey of development. Its purpose is to provide comprehensive formation in spiritual, intellectual, human, and emotional aspects while fostering a deep love for Jesus. During this time, novices learn about the Society of Kristu Dasis' way of life, gain practical experience, and deepen their understanding of consecrated life and the society's spirit. They study evangelical counsels, the Society's Statutes and Directory, develop decision-making skills, nurture their talents, and gain self-awareness. The Novitiate aims to help novices discern and cultivate their vocation, preparing them for a meaningful consecration to our Lord and the Church. The second year focuses on apostolic training and community living experiences.
